Ka Awatea - the time of awakening

Ka Awatea, the time of awakening, opens Tuesday 25 September featuring a fantastic line-up of contemporary artists responding to items from the Lyttelton Museum collection. The artwork proposals have unearthed some interesting collection items – everything from cigarette tins, moa bones, jewellery boxes and ship figureheads.
