Who remembers the Lyttelton Waterfront Motoring Classic street racing held in November 1988, 89 and 90?
"It was a great spectacle and fundraising event for the Lyttelton schools, kindergarten and preschool. I remember hot summer days, the streets thronged with people, and the smell of fuel and hot tyres in the air. I’m not sure how it came about and why it stopped. Does anyone have any info or photos about it?"
